Favorite ThisSkeetones Release Free Rarities and Remixes Album

For dubstep and livetronica act Skeetones, the release of their Retrospektive album was just the beginning. DJ/producer Stump (Cole Brokamp) and bassist David Sweitzer amassed a live P.A. set of new and old Skeetones material, and then the five-piece got some of their best friends in the scene to contribute some pretty thick remixes to the new nine-song release. Retrospektive Remixes & Live P.A Rarities features some of Sweitzer and Brokamp's work like "Propose This!" as well as huge re-workings from Bitch Please and DJ Belly. The standout track that is turning peoples' heads is the massive banger from DWB, a remix of "General Sherman." Like the track's namesake, this cut slashes and burns, leaving nothing in its path. Sorry, Georgia. Catch Skeetones this weekend at Papadosio's Rootwire Festival 2011 in Logan, OH.
