Samples has been a major player in both the Colorado bass music scene, and in the nation's burgeoning glitch-hop set. With gut-wrenching bass and huge synths, the Samples sound has become ubiquitous in DJ sets of all shapes and sizes.

In addition to his much-acclaimed Skyscraper EP, released on Simplify early this year, Ben Samples has put out a ton of other releases including Chillworks Vol. 2, and Sex, Drugs, and Bass, an ode to rock 'n' roll classics. He also contributed an amazing remix to The Polish Ambassador's latest release, and has two collaborations with ill.Gates on his forthcoming Muti release The ill.Methodology. Samples will be releasing a brand new full-length of his own, Malbec, due out in early November on Eliot Lipp's Old Tacoma label.
