You know that weird line in Andy Williams' holiday classic, “It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” where he's like:
There'll be parties for hosting
Marshmallows for toasting
And caroling out in the snow
There'll be scary ghost stories
And tales of the glories of
Christmases long, long ago
Yo who the fuck is telling ghost stories on Christmas? Saka, that's who.
Getting into the holiday spirit, Eric Joseph Chow throws some kerosene on the yule log with a halftime heater in “Specter.” Closing out the year with a stuttering, slumping, psycho monstrosity of a banger, Chow digs into the ol' bag of toys for some evil bass flavors and meticulously programmed percussion.
Our pals at Wormhole have tapped Saka for their big blowout on December 20th with jon1st & Shield, A Hundred Drums, Supertask, and more of our favorite acts at The Great Northern in San Francisco. I guess it is the most wonderful time of the year.
