Monstercat is on the prowl. The YouTube channel turned label has pulled together some of the most exciting producers around from all walks of EDM life. Their dubstep, DnB, and glitch-hop channels have brought attention to several young artists, including today's featured act. Joel Hunt, better known as Rogue, premieres "Adventure Time" today on Beatport. The 21-year-old Brit came to prominence on the back on his dubstep, but his forays into electro piqued our interest. "Adventure Time" packs in that video game aesthetic for which Rogue is known, while really slamming some heavy-hitting bass out of the park. With a sound comparable to Zedd, gentle, warbling melodies are juxtaposed with classic electro grooves. The result is a commanding banger from a star on the rise.
