It's finally paid off. Weeks and weeks of sucking up to Monstercat has finally granted us the opportunity to co-premiere a new track from the tastemaking label. It's New Artist Week over at Monsterlab (which is a misnomer that benefits the fans, as it spans a couple weeks), and the latest addition to the roster may be a familiar name to some.
Rameses B, the young producer from Leeds, made waves with his Memoirs EP. And he has once again turned to his muse, fellow Leeds native Charlotte Haining, whom we first encountered with B's "I Need You." While she does an admirable impression of Adele, as evidenced by her Soundcloud profile, we're actually reminded of another English singer: Ellie Goulding. Her delicate touch in the electronic scope plays foil to the intense electro of Rameses B. Meanwhile, his lush instrumentations backed by years of training at school and a background in piano, craft a stunning, anthemic backdrop for a pop masterpiece. "Come & Go" might be the vehicle that rockets this unbeatable duo to stardom tomorrow. We're just lucky Monstercat is sharing them with us today.
