For many like me, who have an affinity for all things raw and rugged, a Troy Prokopowich and Ethan Glass collab has been a long time coming. Young master PROKO impressed the hell out of us at The Untz Festival last year, and Mr. Glass has been on our last of rising talent for some time now.

Two provocateurs of the slimepunk set, their joint project, “Akuma,” Japanese for demon (which, c'mon... we all saw that coming) is a rambunctious romp through overdriven bass barrages, cutting sirens, and aggressive hooks that reel you in like a shark on a 50-gauge braided line. Also that art by SQUEEKI is just so rad.

PROKO just got off the road with fellow UNTZ alum NastyNasty, where they've been doing some fun back-to-backs around the country. Ethan Glass is out with fellow slimepunk progenitor Bleep Bloop at the El Rey in Albuquerque, New Mexico in the middle of  November.
