At Oregon’s own What The Festival this year I was treated to a heap of new music emerging from the incredibly dynamic music scene busting out of Portland.
Two such artists representing this scene are Pacific Patterns and Chase Manhattan, and we here at The Untz are incredibly excited to premier their brand new collaborative track entitled “Qube” for your listening pleasures.
Chris Petersen (Pacific Patterns) and Chase Harrison (Chase Manhattan) have found success around Portland’s club scene, culminating in an invitation to play the stage at this year’s highly popular What The Festival in Dufur, Oregon. I had the pleasure of catching each of their sets and couldn’t help but notice this one track that popped in during both their performances.
This track was “Qube” and it is the first collaborative release from these two talented producers. Inspired by a new stage at WTF this year, “The Groove Qube” this track takes the energy of the stage and encapsulates it within 3 and a half minutes of experimental beats and bass.
Alone, Pacific Patterns and Chase Manhattan each deliver a unique flavor with their productions. As you might anticipate, the result of bringing these two together in the studio is something totally unique and completely exciting.
Are you ready?
We are pleased to feature the track over at The Untz Soundcloud page with a “Follow to Download” feature so you can support Chase and Chris while copping some free dope tunes all at the same time. Savvy?
