Bringing some hip-hop flavor all the way from Hawai'i, ShadowTrix Music has tapped Nurries for its latest release. The three-track EP, speck, mixes smooth flows over bass music—a combination familiar to anyone who has spent time at the STM stage at The Untz Festival in the past.
Speaking of the ShadowTrix stage, fans will recognize Tor Caspersen from today's featured track. Torbjørn supplies some indelible beats on “Pink Balloon,” and the Nurries raps are a match made in heaven.
Torbjørn is no stranger to hip-hop, as he's part of the group Grandmasters, and earlier this year he premiered “Wandering Alone” on our feeds featuring Vicci Martinez.
Nurries has an interesting cadence and engaging material across each of the selections on the EP. The combo of bass and hip-hop is irresistible. speck is available today, December 10, on ShadowTrix.
