The 'giving season' takes on even more importance when you're in the midst of a global pandemic. Our friends at The Gradient Perspective are teaming up with Spread to bring fans #12daysofTGP. Leading up to the crew's release of its TGP081 compilation featuring some of the best and brightest in dubstep from the DMV area, one song will be released each day to bring in attention and raise some money for these necessary and worthy outlets.
Which brings us to Day 6 and No Remorse. Those in the DC metro area already know about Tyler Birely. He's wowed fans up and down the mid-Atlantic with his massive productions and keen sense of where trends are heading. We're thrilled TGP gave us the opportunity to premiere “Not Afraid” as part of the #12daysofTGP, because this tune shows a totally different side of Birely than many are used to. Laidback dubstep washes over fun samples and demonstrates that No Remorse is capable of anything.
This whole compilation is stacked with up-and-coming dubstep talent from DC, Richmond, Baltimore, and beyond. It's a potent scene, but more importantly, it's a generous one. The Gradient Perspective today is shwoing up for DC Music Summit, which supports DC's local music scene and helps foster an inclusive environment and community engagement. The Gradient Perspective is also supporting Potomac Riverkeeper Network, My Sister's Place, Inc., Capital Area Immigrants' Rights Coalition - CAIR Coalition, Outreach, Unification and Reintegration Vets, and DC Mutual Aid Network. Learn below how you can help support their altruistic efforts and also win some prizes.
It's a thrill to see some of our longest lasting partners in the industry get behind such an impactful cause. We encourage everyone to look into TGP's efforts, and consider how they can impact their own community and music scene in meaningful ways this season. And also learn about some incredible dubstep along the way.
