Mysteryland--the world’s longest-running electronic music, culture, and arts festival--celebrates its U.S. debut on the sacred grounds of the original 1969 Woodstock this Memorial Day weekend, May 24-25.

Marking the first time in 45 years--since that iconic event of the Summer of Love--Bethel Woods Center for the Arts opens its gates and grounds to a multi-day festival, Mysteryland USA promises to be the unicorn of the 2014 festival season.

Steve Aoki, Kaskade, Chase & Status, Nervo, Paper Diamond, Dillstradamus (yes, that’s Dillon Francis and Flosstradamus together) and a host of other A-list DJs will grace the multiple stages and tents of this weekend-long dance party nestled in the foothills of New York’s Catskill Mountains.

The nomadic festival is held annually in the Netherlands and Chile. Its 20th anniversary in the Netherlands this coming August has already sold-out its 60,000 tickets; only 20,000 tickets will be sold for Mysteryland USA. World-renowned for its good vibes, it is no mystery why Mysteryland would make its first stateside appearance on the historic lands of the original festival of peace, love, and music.

Alongside the stacked musical lineup, the 21+ festival features myriad experiential additives including visual art installations, a Healing Garden, and an emphasis on a sustainable Festival Footprint.

Mysteryland USA will also debut a new stage structure rumored to be Alice in Wonderland-themed. Exploring the Mysteryland YouTube and and scrolling through the #Mysteryland tag on Instagram reveals myriad images of a massive rave family meeting on the dancefloor, chilling beneath giant teddy bears and in tiny treehouses, and dancing together through the most imaginable weekend imaginable.

One can expect that dancing in solidarity, united on such hallowed dancefloors, Mysteryland USA attendees will certainly be conjuring up the most kindred of those old Woodstock spirits while raging on through our own generation’s cultural revolution.

General Admission tickets are currently $199 (they go up a bit soon) and do not include overnight accommodation.
