Minneapolis' MikeRat is the latest signee to Wormhole Music Group. Tomorrow (August 23) the west coast label launches Scamper Vol 1, hinting at more material to come from Michael Pendergast. The 4-track EP gives fans a lot of different looks, and we're thrilled to premiere the opening salvo.

“Aquadome” features shimmering arpeggios that flutter throughout the mix, cascading across thick drums and bass—hallmarks of Pendergast's signature 'sneaky bass.' The cut was featured in the MikeRat Infrasound mix from this year (which you can hear in its entirety below), where Pendergast has become a fixture of sorts over the last few years.

MikeRat has planted himself in the Minneapolis scene, but with the success of the EP, it's likely that he could soon break out of the upper midwest and into new markets around the country.
