With headliners like Bassnectar, Pretty Lights, Shpongle, Cut Copy, Ratatat, Ghostland Observatory, Wolfgang Gartner, Lotus, and of course the Disco Biscuits, Camp Bisco X was a masterpiece, completely selling out by Friday morning. This week, Untz senior contributor Kerry McNeil speaks with one of the stars of the show who made CBX such a smashing success: MartyParty. Collaborating most recently with Minnesota as DeathStar, they've got the Ultraviolet Halo EP out now, and a ton of high-profile remixes.
In addition to Mr. Martin Folb, this episode features brand new releases from Skeetones (they've got a new remixes and rarities album up for free on Bandcamp), as well as Loyal Divide. The Chicago quartet recently signed to Kilo Records, and will be putting their debut LP Bodice Ripper out on October 4th. Of course, the big release this week was Bassnectar, with his Divergent Spectrum album. We didn't leave him out in the cold...
