ThazDope Records' train keeps rolling west, and its bringing a boatload of talent from around the country to the west coast. Part of that stable of talent, alongside names like Lucy, Mystic Grizzly, aedfx., Danny Grooves, Shift Mojo, and more are Man Darino and Dropkick.
Today we have a fearsome new premiere from these two young upstarts who are performing at The Untz Festival for the first time this year. “Blunt” is a characteristically ThazDope tune because it throws all the rules out the window about where the bass music scene is. In fact, they're like "what about some mids?" The mid-range frequency and tops on this tune are as expressive as the subs, and the wonky approach to what's new in the scene really demonstrates that these two are trying something different.
Along with Man Darino and Dropkick, fans can see The Undergrowth, Lost Dogz, and Faceless Future Collective members, as well as Smokestax B2B Brainrack, Aplsoz, Moniker, and so many more. Tickets are still available at www.theuntzfestival.com.
