Christopher Glover is a new name to some, but for those in the know, the disco producer has been blowing minds for years. The talented singer can crush those sugary vocals that pair so well with the tender melodies and hypnotic grooves of nu-disco and house that come from the indie dance world.
Yesterday, Glover unleashed his cover of Lionel Ritchie's ubiquitous party jam "All Night Long." I mean, the original is dope and all, but Penguin Prison kicks it into the modern era with a little throwback flavor. Paradoxical, I know.
Which is why I can't wait to get Chris Glover on my panel, The Disco Revival, tomorrow (June 26), alongside the Detroit dudes of Golf Clap. We're going to dive in and figure out why old school club music is back in such a big way. Join us at 5:00pm in the Electric Glen at Electric Forest. We're gonna go deep, kiddies.
