Wormhole Music Group has been on a hot streak, but you already know that, because you're an avid reader of The Untz. The latest installment in the west coast progressive bass label's Wormfiles series comes in part from a southeastern producer on the rise, and an international phenom poised for a breakout.
leet is gaining ground from his Murfreesboro, Tennessee outpost. Fans of Chee are already familiar with Jon Casey, who has partnered up with his fellow South African countryman as part of It Hz. This unlikely pairing has already found a home on NOISIA radio, and fans have been clamoring for the unreleased tune until Wormhole dropped it this week.
“Drizzle” pits intricate sound design against stuttering, fleeting beats. Dark and dispossessed, there's an uneasiness that coagulates like a blood clot in the depths of your stomach. The loose, free-wheeling arc of the track exudes confidence and production prowess. As these two artists sniff each other out, the audience reaps the spoils of this intellectual cage match.
leet will be making his way to The Untz Festival from June 1-3 in Mariposa, California. The Wormhole hosts the aforementioned Chee as well as Mad Zach, kLL sMTH, Frequent, Brightside, Secret Recipe, and more.
