Following the flood of attention heaped upon the angelic voices supporting Skrillex's hit "Breathe," it comes as no surprise that singer-songwriter sisters Jahan and Yasmine are back in the spotlight. The two Chi-town divas, along with talented producer Rain Man Kris, comprise the dubstep super group Krewella. The trio performed its first show back in September and since then have created an indelible imprint on the electronic dance music scene. The crew's latest release, "Killin' It," currently holds the #1 spot on Soundcloud's dubstep chart and features a diverse palette of bass-infused breakdowns and pop-inspired lyrics. Giving Skrillex and La Roux a run for their money, the threesome delivers a full-bodied drumstep banger that combines catchy lyrics, head banging bass, and gut-wrenching drops. Stay tuned to Krewella in 2012, the trio is rumored to have collaborations with champion bass producers Adventure Club already in the works.
