For almost 20 years, Korn has been at the forefront of the metal scene. Since bursting onto the scene in the mid-90's, their risk-taking approach to studio work has resulted in ten successful studio albums, millions of record sales, and one of the claims to an entire subgenre of music: rap-metal or nu-metal. Today, the California quartet embarks on a new chapter in their history, and in their field, with the release of The Path of Totality on Roadrunner Records. Joining forces with some of the biggest producers in the dubstep realm, including Skrillex, Excision, Datsik, Downlink, and 12th Planet, the band has set the stage for an entirely new flood of crossbreeding between the metal and bass music worlds.
