I didn't know if I could handle anymore lard, flour, salt, sugar, or butter after the heady carbo-loading days of the holidays, but I think I saved a little room for some audible Munchies, a gastronimically-infused trip courtesy of Kirby Bright and Zeplinn.
The Untz Festival alums, who are both major figures of The Undergrowth, a bass-centric collective from Asheville, North Carolina, release their collaborative EP on January 10th, the same day Kirby Bright opens for Yheti at the Asheville Music Hall, performing a very special 3-hour set.
We are happy to bring fans some hot and tasty “Biscuits” ahead of the release, and tempt you with a taste of what's to come. The boys get a little help from disgraced TV chef Paula Deen, who lets everybody know her secrets to the perfect biscuits. And that secret isn't racism, by the way. It's high-powered wubs courtesy of a couple guys who know their way around the underground bass scene.
Food and bass are two of my favorite things, so if you're at all like me, pull up a chair, grab your knife and fork, and dig in.
