A couple weeks back, The Untz unveiled the Keeplove? single, "Love We Gained" featuring the organ skills of Michal Menert. The folkstep pioneer, David Samano, has a new album coming out on Menert's Super Best Records (for which Michal also created the artwork), and today we've got another star-studded single for fans to enjoy.
Samano tapped DYNOHUNTER sax man Clark Smith, TNERTLE horn player Leah Concialdi, Will Glazier and Dan De Lisle of WillDaBeast, and multi-instrumentalist Matt Van Den Heuvel (Michal Menert & the Pretty Fantastics), for the somber yet bittersweet dirge "It's Easy." The full wall of sound effect achieved with the layering of horns and tender acoustic guitar shows just how dense Keeplove?'s material can be. While only moderately electronic in its approach, the richness of the instrumentation leaves little to be desired.
We hope to get an official release date for Northern Ways in the coming days, but we're going to be hounding Super Best Records for the rest of this album.
