Israeli psytrance/electronica duo Infected Mushroom has paired up with rising Scandinavian twosome Pegboard Nerds to create a hypnotizing, glitch hop adventure of the mind aka “Nerds on Mushrooms.” The track encompasses exactly what you would expect from the title, first pulling you in with entrancing, psychedelic, middle-eastern waves that build up to 8-bit dubtrance electroshocks. Taking you on a heart-racing ride of intense melodic piano harmonies, 80’s metal guitar riffs, and distorted basslines closing out with hypnotic trance. Gamers will rejoice at first listen to this trippy track, exploring a journey all their own.
