IMPULSE Music Festival returns to Georgia this summer, June 6-9th in Unadilla, with a diverse lineup of livetronica, dubstep, trap, and glitch-hop. The electronic music festival now in its second year is bringing back some familiar faces and decking the lineup with a ton of newcomers who are sure to please the boutique festival's returning fans.
Returning to the top of the bill is the live eletronic duo EOTO. Jason Hahn and Michael Travis have been running around the country spreading their 100% improvised sound that has evolved from breakbeat and trip-hop to full on house and electro and of course their beloved dubstep sound.
Other highlights on the lineup include touring mates from the HERE COME THE SUPERVILLAINS run Wick-it The instigator and Archnemesis. And speaking of supervillains, Atlanta legends Heroes x Villains will be running the trap on Unadilla. Livetronica will be represented by Dopapod and Arpetrio, with two sets from the former. Glitch-hop will be well-represented by Mindelixir, Freddy Todd, Bitch Please, and the man, the myth, the legend: ill.Gates.
Visit www.impulsefestival.net for the full lineup, and to grab yourself some tickets. There will be camping (with fires), RV hookups, and there's a VIP package if you're trying to do it right. And stay tuned for the Phase 2 and Phase 3 lineups, which are coming soon. Fans were thrilled with this intimate festival's atmosphere last year, and there are some amazing artists on the threshold for this year's IMPULSE incarnation.
