One of the many joys of running the our big Untz Challenges every few months is that we get to pick up on some of the rising superstars in the electronic music scene. It comes as no surprise that a great number of those talented up-and-comers are coming from the great state of Colorado. A disproportionate number of producers have been flooding out of the Centennial State from the Boulder-Denver-Ft. Collins triangle, and one such act is G-LAFE. Greg Lafer is a super young, super talented producer who defies genre labels, choosing instead to ford his own way through the torrent of bass and hip-hop beatmakers with classy synth work, gorgeous builds, and an ear for composition. "Interdimensional" is a carefully crafted tune that settles comfortably into the chill soundscape of a long drive.
