Happy Halloween from The Untz, it's time to spark one up with your favorite Texans and zombie walk the night away! Just in time for our favorite holiday of the year,
Lance Herbstrong brought to life a monster mash-up that will raise the dead... sorta. The spirits of Jimi Hendrix and Etta James (not going to make a Bob Dylan is dead joke here) are alive and well in Herbstrong's human centipede of
Pretty Lights' "Finally Moving" and Hendrix's take on "All Along the Watchtower." And it's about damn time we heard from the Austin boys, whose lovable namesake has fallen on rough times. Pardon Mr. Armstrong, all he did was beat cancer, date Sheryl Crow, and make bike racing interesting. Sheesh.
Digression aside, this mash-up demonstrates the easy, breezy flow of Herbstrong. Dubbed out guitar licks and hip-hop beats underscore the trio's studio work. Sure, this is a chill remix, but to really appreciate the Herbstrong aesthetic, you gotta see these guys live. They are way over the top with goodness. Just a crazy dance party waiting to be unlocked like a mummy from his tomb. Enjoy the tune, pig out on candy corn, and make sure you catch these guys when they hit your town.
