Fakear releases 'Light Bullet' remixes on Counter Records

Coming off the massive release of Animal on Ninja Tune, France's Fakear today drops a whole packet of remixes on Ninja's more mainstream imprint Counter Records. The downtempo, house-driven, and hip-hop stylings of Théo Le Vigoureux have captured the imaginations of rabid fans in Europe, and are now making their way across the Atlantic to America.
“Light Bullet,” one of the standout singles from Animal gets the royal treatmeant from handpicked acts on the rise. The original features Ninja Tune standby Andreya Triana, and the diverse roster of remixers ranging from Bearcubs to Lancelot to Makeness stretch, pull, and poke the stems into a wildly different takes. A little bit of deep house, downtempo delights, and even more experimental avenues open up, if we can point towards the stars of the packet, Simona Drive and the utterly enchanting Mona Vale.
