Hot off a thrilling weekend at SubOctave where he fired off a dazzling set, and Space Jesus went ham on “Beige Alert,” one of our favorite young producers Ethan Glass drops off his rip-roaring contribution to the supremely stacked Saturate Records compilation whose impending release hangs over us like a shimmering full moon.
The Saturated Volume 6 comp has already captivated our attention with a crop of new tunes from Toadface, Kozmo & Moniker, Skew x yunis, and PROKO. You can only salivate in wonder at which new breakout acts and veteran bass maestros decorate the hallowed halls of this 30-track compilation.
To that end, slimepunk empresario Ethan Glass turns some heads and wrecks some subs with “Rumble,” a cheeky track that is very much in line with the cutting-edge bass we're hearing from the west coast, east coast, and Europe, but very much on its own path of destruction. Glass' forays into bubbling bass and buzzsaw hats are both delightfully ticklish and deadly serious. They'll make you stop banging your head for one sec to ask “What the fuck was that?”
You'll find out on August 1st when Saturated Volume 6 sees the light of day.
Best of all, we're excited to announce that Ethan Glass has joined The Untz's special date on Yheti's new tour with DMVU and Toadface. When the Far From The Tree tour hits Charlottesville, Virginia on September 28th, Glass will be a featured guest on this already stacked lineup. We've got our eyes on this stunning up-and-comer. You'll be seeing him on a grip of festival bills in the coming years, as well as some rowdy tours of his own.
