ESL Music & the Ancient Astronauts Will Descend Upon San Francisco
Recently Rob Garza, one half of D.C.'s Thievery Corporation and co-founder of ESL Music relocated to San Francisco; it didn't take him long to put together a showcase to help introduce the already legendary record label to the Bay Area. Friday night will find Rob performing a DJ set at Public Works headling a massive lineup which will also feature his labelmates the Ancient Astronauts. The Astronauts, based out of Germany, recently put out their second studio release Into Bass and Time and are currently on a US tour supporting the album.
Earlier on Friday, RLife Live will present a FREE Ancient Astronauts show at The Stanford Court Renaissance in San Francisco from 6 - 8pm, hosted by none other than Rob Garza. Playing what should be a little more intimate "happy hour" type of a gig, the ESL Music crew will get loose before heading over to the Public Works to really throw it down for the dance party crowd!
