Brooklyn, New York based EDM record label Brooklyn Fire, and New York City entertainment marketing & PR firm UG Strategies, along with Live Nation and NYC based GBH Events, are proud to announce “EDM For Sandy Relief,” a benefit concert for The American Red Cross and Hurricane Sandy victims, in association with Sol Republic.
On Monday November 19th, some of the biggest names in electronic music will gather at New York City’s legendary Gramercy Theatre, to share their love for music, and more importantly, their love for New York City and those affected by the Hurricane Sandy.
DJs performing at the benefit event, where 100% of proceeds will be donated to The American Red Cross, include:
The Crystal Method (dj set), Tommie Sunshine,
Drop The Lime, Run DMT, Gosteffects, The Disco Fries, Dances With White Girls, FIGO (dj set), Blaqwell, Prince Terrance (Hussle Club), Carl Louis & Martin Danielle, Alex English, Righteous Trash, and many more to be announced.
In addition to an amazing line-up of music, EDM For Sandy Relief will also be hosting a Thanksgiving food & clothing drive, as well as a silent auction with support from corporate sponsors including: Sol Republic Headphones, Armani Exchange, Live Nation, Yelp.com, Blaze Electronic Cigarettes, Fulcrum Promotions, Electronic Music Alliance, and Mercy Beverages.
Says Tommie Sunshine, founder and CEO of Brooklyn Fire, “Creating this was an easy decision as my family almost lost our summer home in Manasaquan, NJ. It was my Grandmother's house & I spent every summer of my life visiting the Jersey Shore there. To see such devastation moved me to action. I wanted to go down there to help but that proved impossible, so I did what I could from here in Brooklyn & called Parag to join forces in creating what has become something very special. One of the best aspects of this is that Live Nation has let us make this event ALL AGES so with the kids involved, I feel like this is going to be one rowdy Monday night in NYC.”
Says Parag Bhandari, founder & CEO of UG Strategies, “I was raised in New Jersey and I live in Brooklyn, and seeing the devastation that Hurricane Sandy brought to the area is absolutely tragic. I’m honored to be working with Tommie and so many great artists and partners to collectively do our part and help those in need with a great night of music.”
EDM For Sandy Relief is an ALL AGES event.
Tickets are $20, with waived ticketing fees, and are available online HERE.
