The dude ROOK has just released his debut EP, The Come Up, and all the beats were produced by the EAZYBAKED boys. This EP features a load of fresh flows from Preston Hoel over top of six super fresh beats courtesy of that EZB crew.
The tile track, “The Come Up,” is a great example of how versatile in the studio these guys can be. ROOK’s reflections on life and channeled experience pour over the drippy perc loops and huge 808’s we know and love from Eric Ray and Andrew Principe. The rest of the EP follows suit in correct form. It is definitely advised to keep your ears fixed toward ROOK over the next year for even more goodies.
If that wasn't enough for you however, EAZYBAKED also dropped off a brand new single on their SoundCloud page as well. This one is titled “Interclock” and it is a short, but sweet banger of a beat. This one rides over top of cut up vocals and wonky percussion hits. This is one you will need to check out for yourself.
Head over to their socials to listen to this one and the rest of their catalog while we all prepare ourselves for the madness set to unfold this summer at The Untz Festival. The boys are back June 1-3 in Mariposa, California alongside Prophet, kLL sMTH, SubDocta, and so many more. We've been hearing much talk of a Wakaan release, so we'll keep you posted on that one.
