Further solidifying the notion that they can do it all, today ZOOGMA drops "Could It Be," an electro-soul mash-up blending the live electronic act's signature groove and a classic from Motown artists The Spinners. The southern four-piece takes Detroit's Spinners' "Could It Be I'm Falling In Love" for a ride with pulsing bass and glittering synth work. Proving there are no bounds to the quartet's range, we get a late-in-the-game halftime breakdown that comes complete with a neck-snapping chorus that sends chills up and down your spine. Thank goodness these southern gentlemen know how to treat us right, giving this beauty away for FREE!
The boys hit the road on Wednesday at the Brooklyn Bowl, doing a quick run into Pennsylvania, then set off into the southeast in earnest throughout April, culminating the spring run with a Colorado trio of dates that closes out with SONIC BLOOM's Unified Field pre-party at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom on May 3rd. No longer are folks asking "WTF is Zoogma?" They're asking "Where the fuck is Zoogma, because I need to see them now!"
