With an album in the works, and more than a few Fall dates under their belt, Conspirator is hitting the production side of things rather hard. A handful of tracks have surfaced from the four-piece dance act comprised of The Disco Biscuits' Marc Brownstein and Aron Magner, Lotus drummer Mike Greenfield, and latest "official" addition to the fold, guitarist Chris Michetti. While Brownstein and Magner certainly got their fill of electro at Camp Bisco X with Wolfgang Gartner and MSTRKRFT, their latest track has definitely got that Porter Robinson vibe. "Gypsy Lane" is a straight up electro whizzbanger, kind of a change of pace for the quartet whose background lies primarily in live house, trance, and jam. It will be interesting to see these tunes move from the laptop to the stage. The gang hits Oxford, MS tonight, Murfreesboro, TN with Arpetrio tomorrow night, and Tall Tree Lake Festival in Goreville, IL on Friday.
