Remember back to August of 2011, when a lil' ol' site by the name TheUntz.com dished out a sampler with tracks from Bassnectar, Thievery Corporation, and a little guy by the name of GRiZ? Whatever happened to that dude? Oh yeah... he blew the fuck up. Little more than a week after his first headlining show at the Fox Theatre in his new hometown of Boulder sold out (in six hours, we should add), the fresh-faced producer and multi-instrumentalist, prolific as ever, is throwing down the "Power," with his new neighbors, Big Gigantic. Surprise, surprise, the track is epic. Huge bass, Dom's sax, it's all there, as one would expect. Fans of Big G have caught this on the road, the collaboration birthed in the forests of GRiZ's old Michigan home this summer. Now, everyone's got the "Power," and the lucky few who know what's up grabbed those NYE tickets for the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago before they sold out.
