Big Gigantic have, without a doubt, climbed to be one of the most recognizable names in EDM over the past few years. Their latest album Brighter Future not only features the likes of GRiZ and Cherub, but further even boasts a few unexpected vocalists like Logic and Waka Flocka Flame to create their most diverse release yet.
Earlier this year the duo hosted an invite-only party that lasted the same four nights of X Games Aspen 2016. Sponsored by Weedmaps and Mary’s Medicinals, the duo played intimate sets along with surprise guests like GRiZ, Cherub, Break Science and more. The event was used to announce Big G would be releasing their own cannabis strain through Native Roots. “Cookies & Dream,” a crossbreed of Girl Scout Cookies and Blue Dream, finally hit stores this past Friday at 4:20pm (as expected).
As if they weren’t busy enough, we’re now only a day away from Rowdytown V, their annual two-day takeover of the Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Kill the Noise, Marshmello, Illenium and more are joining them, so it’s guaranteed to be a non-stop party for fans of every kind.
Head over to http://www.biggigantic.net/ to grab Brighter Future and check out the guys’ fall tour schedule. If you’re 21 and find yourself in Colorado, make sure you find a Native Roots store as well to check out “Cookies & Dream”—apparently it’s what you (and I) have both been missing.
