5. Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl ft. Georgi Kay - In My Mind (Axwell Mix)
“In My Mind” was everywhere in 2012, and for good reason. Whether you were watching TV or attending a huge festival, this track was getting bumped at full volume. Axwell did what he does best when remixing this song, which is turning something good into something utterly unforgettable.
2012 was a huge year for Nicky Romero, and “Like Home” was just one of his many successful creations. The last twelve months saw Romero collaborating with some of EDM’s biggest superstars, including mind-blowing tracks with Zedd, Calvin Harris, Fedde le Grand, and of course NERVO. His eyes are on the prize, and there’s no telling what he’ll do next.
Matthew Koma was undoubtedly EDM’s male vocalist of the year. Collaborations with Zedd, Fedde le Grand & Nicky Romero, and Alesso helped make him a household name, and he deserves every ounce of credit coming to him. “Years” makes you appreciate the time you’ve got on this Earth, and stay thankful for every new day.
“Follow You” is what every progressive house fanatic dreams of: a radiant anthem containing big beats, addicting synths, and hypnotizing vocals. Deniz Koyu and Wynter Gordon provided us with all these things on their exhilarating collaboration, and gave the world something to dance about.
