Archnemesis: Welcome to Atlanta [Mash-up]

Justin Aubuchon and Curt Heiny, better known as Archnemesis, have dropped another free track. The brand spankin’ new “Welcome to Atlanta” mash-up is filthy, and complements their recently dropped remix, “Do You Mind,” beautifully. The juxtaposition of both tracks reflects the wide range of the duo’s genre-defying style.
“Welcome to Atlanta” bangs a dirty bassline that appropriately reps the dirty south. Archnemesis’ hyphy beats mashed up with samples from Ludacris, Jermaine Dupri, and Outkast create a southern-style glitch-hop vibe. “Do You Mind” possesses a more electro feel. Archnemesis intertwines bass growls into the soulful vocals of The XX to create a sensually glitchy jam. The lyrics fade softly into the mix like a whispered secret that gets distracted on the dance floor.
