This past summer introduced Hayden Kramer to a lot of young EDM fans. Whether it was through his monstrous output of BUSTED remixes, or his high-profile touring, most notably with acts like
VibeSquad &
Opiuo, it was definitely the coming out party for
heRobust. We can tell he's been busy in his lab, churning out even more material. The latest is a wicked take on Master P's 504 Boyz, the No Limit supergroup and their cut "I Can Tell." There's no denying that signature heRobust hi-hat and snare. Truly pioneering this re-exploration of the hip-hop aesthetic by trap and trill producers coming out of the woodwork, Kramer truly has a grip on what it means to dial in that Dirty South sound (and being a southerner himself doesn't hurt). If this track is your thing, and even more importantly, if it
isn't, you owe it to yourself to peruse the heRobust catalog, because it really is like walking into young Einstein's laboratory. It's a sign of things to come. And Yahoo Serious probably isn't there, so you're safe.
