Two of our favorite Denver-based producers, Chris Cox (Omega) and Aaron Holsapple (Cualli) are on the cusp of releasing their debut album, One, as the two-headed "Ayahuasca Rock" duo YuYu. Produced from the ground up with Holsapple on guitar and mastering wizard Cox tightening up the bass on his own record, the album is a tour de force in contemporary glitch, dub, and experimental technique.

Today, we premiere "Eremite Exciter," featuring Samuel Wexler on violin. The cut grabs you by the chakras and twists your chi until you murmur "ohm." Heavy-hitting subs are complemented by delicate string melodies, and Holsapple's guitar solo rides out on a soaring note.
One is out April 7th on legendary Addictech Records, and those in the Denver area can catch this creative pairing, along with Bird of Prey, Mikey Thunder, and Seied on Friday, April 11th at Cervantes' Other Side for a triumphant record release party. We'll see you--and YuYu--next week.
