Not to be tied down by any sort of genre-laden restrictions, Wick-it the Instigator--already proficient in the worlds of hip-hop, dubstep, and moombahton--has taken on the resurgent genre of drum & bass. With his clear vision of marrying the worlds of rap and dance, Andrew Owsley has this innate talent for crafting the hookiest groove and frosting the cake with the absolute pitch-perfect verses from rhyme spitters past and present. It's like these raps were written and recorded specifically for Wick-it. It's completely uncanny how he does it. This time around, it's T.I.'s "Big Shit Poppin'" that serves as the source material for "Victory Dance." The staccato, rapid-fire rhythm of the d&b gives way to a synth barrage over a dubstep breakdown. Mix and match, it's what he does best.

And by the way, Wick-it the Instigator is ever so close to the 10K mark on Facebook, so man up, fan up, and let's show this talented wizard some love. You want to say you got on board early, because Owsley is destined for super-stardom. He's on the verge of his own victory dance at Nocturnal Wonderland this weekend in the Lone Star State.
