The Untz Festival. It’s coming up quick, and if you didn’t realize already, Wick-it The Instigator will be on hand, ready to show our California family what he's all about. And there's no messing around when Andrew Owsley comes to town.
He has made waves the past few years with tasty bootlegs and remixes all across the tempo spectrum, and now he's back with a new original piece, “Slow and Steady,” that moves away from the funkier, heavier side of his range into the lush regions of hybrid electronica.
Enticing all together, the track opens with a burst of vibrant vocals echoing throughout the fall of pads and tight, steady kicks. Wick-it has made a point of consistently churning out the best tunes. This is no exception. The melodies and chords are emotive while continue to push the energy higher throughout. Just the thought of rocking out to this one in the foothills of northern California gives us all goose bumps.
Wick-it The Instigator is at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver, CO tomorrow (February 19) alongside fellow The Untz Festival artist Unlimited Gravity.
