YAAAAAARRRRRRRRR!

Ok, ok... I know what you want. You want me to rattle off a bunch of pirate puns in honor of The Pirate Party, returning to Lolo Hot Springs in Lolo, MT from July 31st - August 2nd, but I'm not going to do it. That just detracts from the incredible lineup that the promoters, Musik Lives Here and Headyworks, have assembled for this fine summer festival. I could go on and on about scurvy and parrots and pieces of eight, but I'm absolutely not going to do it. It would be insensitive to these amazing artists.

Yes, it's very cool that everyone is dressed up a pirate, and the stages and decor are all pirate themed. But the main thing that attracts us to The Pirate Party is this stellar, underground bass vibe that has this lineup stacked from top to bottom. I mean, these are some of the biggest names in the biz. It's difficult for me to imagine a thicker bill of non-mainstream acts. The credibility of this roster of artists is high.

Which is what makes it all the more difficult to decide who to see when the lineup is running so deep. Never you mind. I'm going to break down the Top 10 artists from this lineup you absolutely cannot miss, and then it will be easy as pie to pick up your schedule and make a decision.

And fine... one more... if you're gonna beg... SHIVER ME TIMBERS!

10. Mr. Bill

The master of the funk. What can we say about Bill Day that we haven't said already? He's a genius. Bang your head and shake your booty. There are no more words necessary.

9. CloZee
There's nothing she can't do. Originals, remixes, collaborations--everything CloZee touches turns to gold. Millions of Soundcloud plays later, she's crushing US festivals from coast-to-coast.
8. JPOD
If you like your beats served up fresh and funky, there's only one chef to whom you can turn. Strap your laces tight, because you don't want your shoes to go flying once you start digging in.
