Time to take a journey, kiddos. We've been blessed with a brand new remix of The Human Experience's "Ritual" by Australian tribal trance shaman Kalya Scintilla. Deep, sexy bass ducks and weaves through intricately laced organic drums--thuds and reverberations of animal skins stretched tightly across warm wood. Darkness and light is balanced impeccably amongst hypnotic grooves. The close connection between David Block and Yaygon Lamagaia is instantly recognizable in the depth of attention and care the latter gives to the former's source material. You can catch Kalya Scintilla this Thursday, when he hits Cervantes with Kaminanda for Bluetech's Spacehop stop, and over the weekend at Gem & Jam Festival in Tucson, AZ.
