The Floozies, you might know them as Matt and Mark Hill, are one of the funkiest duos to ever hit the electronic music scene. Part of GRiZ’s own All Good Records, their electronic production and live instrumentation has been turning live shows into epic dance parties all across the nation. With a number of albums like Under Another Sun, At Dusk We Launch, and Do Your Thing, they are adding even more gems to their already stacked arsenal of music with the new release of Granola Jones EP.

This four-track EP stays true to The Floozies' unique brand of electro-funk that has earned them a solid spot in all of our music libraries. From the signature sounds of their talkbox in "Super Bad," to the wobbles in "Wild Card," combined with Mark’s groovy drumming style, this EP is everything we could have hoped for and more.

Then taking it to "No Part Of This" (featuring Karl Denson, whose musical accomplishments are far too long to list), the unison of Matt’s bouncy and always fresh guitar riffs with Denson’s expertise on the saxophone make it nearly impossible to not get up and boogie down where ever you may be.

The Floozies tourFinishing the EP with the self titled track, "Granola Jones," the funk brothers, slow it down ever so slightly to finish off the experience of this musical journey with beautiful keyboard licks and an amazing guitar solo by Matt Hill, sure to leave you playing this EP over and over for the foreseeable future.

Be sure to check them out live on their tour dates for this winter/spring touring across the entire U.S. with SunSquabi, Russ Liquid, Defunk, Flamingosis, and SugarBeats (who happen to be playing The Untz Festival, as well). You will not be disappointed.
