Favorite ThisTen Nightclub (Orange County): Volume Sundays - New Weekly

If you live anywhere near Orange County, there is no better place to finish up your long work or summer school week than at Ten Nightclub. The incredible venue located in Newport Beach is hosting a new series presented by Identity Management Group, Insomniac Events, and INTO THE AM, who have been slaving away lately to bring bass savvy listeners some of EDM’s most illustrious artists to destroy sets every Sunday night for the rest of the summer. The first round took place on July 1st and featured house producer/mashup artist 3LAU, and the names only get bigger from there.

July 8th (http://theuntz.com/Volume-Sundays-Autoerotique-At-Ten-Nightclub)

Autoérotique is based out of Toronto, and produce a diverse sound that encapsulates a slew of different genres ranging from electro to Dutch house. The duo is known for its ability to get a crowd on their feet, and have dropped tantalizing switch-ups of artists like Felix Cartel and Steve Aoki that all feature their own ubiquitous and aggressive groove. They recently released a potent EP chock full of original cuts off Dim Mak called EKG, as they continue their mission to tear apart any dance floor that dare step in front of them.

Zeds Dead has been stomping all over North America’s dubstep scene these past few years with a haunting and rambunctious sound that is undeniably fresh. The duo also hail from Toronto, and are on a roll as of late with an enormous supply of bass filled cuts stemming from their fingertips including thunderous EP’s like Adrenaline and Victor, along with immersive remixes of artists like The Roots and Sébastien Tellier. They put on a ferocious live show, and truly know how to please any fan in attendance by dropping cuts from genres all across the board.

Mord Fustang is an absolute mad man when it comes to unleashing his own unique brand of funky electro-house hand crafted to get any audience ragin’ their way through the night. His discos infused soundcsapes are incredible tantalizing to the ears, which can be experienced on prestigious EP’s like All Eyes On Mord Fustang, and synth sweeping revamps of Morgan Page and Fussy Boy. The producer out of Estonia is in his element when performing live, and is sure to bring his A game when he steps on stage at the beautiful Ten Nightclub.

July 29th (http://theuntz.com/VOLUME-SUNDAYS-KREWELLA-At-TEN-NIGHTCLUB)

Chicago trio Krewella can best be described as a group of rowdy kids who are remarkably good at two things: busting out tenacious tracks, and getting wild all night long. Their debut EP Play Hard lived up to the hype with an armada of danceable beats and mind blowing vocal progressions that have helped establish their memorable sound. Krewella likes to go all out when they perform, so make sure you are also ready to get down.
