Favorite ThisSynergy Sound premieres its massive new tune for Adapted Records

We have a pretty bad lemming tendency with Adapted Records. They hip us to an artist, and we just follow them blindly down the hallway like moths to the flame.

Hasn't failed us so far.

Our latest discovery is European glitch-hop duo Synergy Sound. The pairing of Germany's Mitra Xyde and Norway's Moritz Breit has been overwhelmingly prolific in its short three-year career. Already with five EP's under their belt, the new one, Ampere, is slated for a December 6 release.

This 5-track EP is all over the yard. Skewing way more symphonic than funky, the glitch-hop contained in these tracks is as richly produced as it is technical and progressive. Much more of a movie score than a dance party. Today's premiere, title track “Ampere” is a raging sci-fi monster, scrambling into dubstep territory, while still maintaining the delicate sensibilities of glitch. Just shows how powerful these two can be in the studio, while keeping their long-distance partnership aflame.
