It's been a year-and-a-half since Smokestax's smokin' B2B at The Untz Festival with Brainrack, but Ethan Uellendahl's back on our feeds with another old favorite of ours. Earlier this year another festival alum, ION, came to us with a wicked collab, “Dirty Sprite,” with goldwire. Well now Smokestax and goldwire have a joint especially for us.

Justin Owens will be releasing a brand new EP, Sien, with our Philly friends, Aspire Higher, this Friday, and we have a teaser from that EP, “No Answer,” which seems like a head-nodding 140 wonker, but then darts all over the room and doesn't let you pin it down with a label that easily. It's got that signature goldwire low end wiggle that we love. Then again, Aspire Higher has always had good taste.

Smokestax will be up at Equinox Festival in New England next weekend with his high-energy show, and you can snag goldwire's Sien from Aspire Higher on September 13.
