There seems to be nothing standing in the way of Colorado's Robotic Pirate Monkey. They've got all the angles covered. Bass music, remixes, and high-powered shows that are attracting more and more attention. The trio recently released a brand new track, "Rio de Fuego," from their forthcoming release, and slapped it on a brilliantly shot video from Cinesthetics. The footage was shot at RPM's sold-out performance at The Bluebird in Denver, CO, as well as their Red Rocks gig for Global Dance Festival. They play Red Rocks having been producing for just over a year? They must be doing something right...

"Rio de Fuego" has it all: bass, glittering synths, and just the right amount of Heart. The band discusses its predilection for weird, old-school samples and penchant for FM radio on the latest episode of The Untz Podcast, coming out in just a few short hours. With a giant show scheduled for tomorrow with Paper Diamond and Big Gigantic at CU's Welcomefest, this party doesn't show signs of slowing down. Keep it close.
