Even as we creep closer to the high-traffic touring part of the year, TRUTH keeps the supply of Deep, Dark & Dangerous dubs flowing like the pitch black waters of the River Styx. The latest entry into the DDD catalog is REZ's The Valley EP, which introduces five minimal, spacey, and tribal tunes into rotation.
Today we premiere the title track from the collection, a starkly subtle song with strong dub elements and a vibrant low end growl. The highlight is obviously the precision of the percussion as it tip-toes beside the warbling bass line in support without overshadowing tonally.
Fans of the Deep, Dark & Dangerous label have been singing Kevin Clark's praises as an exciting new artist in the "pure" dubstep echelon.
