Never one to shy away from pushing musical boundaries, Psymbionic proves yet again that he has no limits on his latest EP, Post/Wave/Future/Core out today on Muti Music. Loose funk grooves permeate this cohesive and chromatic 6 track album as it spans many of the -step, future-, and -hop genres that the electronic music community has embraced.

The UK-influenced basslines in “Apex” mix perfectly with it’s shuffled drums, sweeping you around the dance floor. “Inertia” creeps heavy and fast with variant, punchy drum patterns, while “Coagulate” merges cautious, compounding synths and keen arpeggiation, then tickles your mind with textured bass. Known for collaborating with some of today’s leading and underground talent, he enlists Pharo for “Voyages” -- a deeper, percussive offering akin to Future Garage. His sonic brainchild with Glitch.FM founder Great Scott, “Computronium,” pushes drumstep into some very friendly, yet thumping territories. “Sensorship” wraps the release with rolling rhythms and grimey lead synths, creating a dubstep beauty in the expanding repertoire of this producer.
