PrismadaIt's been about a year and a half since Prismada was last on our radar. Kansas City's Brett Frischer was thrilling us with some really adventurous and delightfully produced halftime in late 2018. Now he's back on one of our favorite labels, and his sound is even silkier and full of wubs.

Next week, Frischer drops Shakua, a two-track EP, on The Undergrowth out of Asheville. Both of these tracks are absolute heaters, but today's premiere “Oshen” is in the squirrelly, groovy, 85 BPM category that ticks all sorts of boxes for us.

It's got this delightful, mid-frequency lead and the beat dances all over the place. I'm even more excited by this new Prismada sound that what I was introduced to 18 months ago.

Bottom line is, one of my new favorite acts is linking up with one of the best collectives in the country, so we should all be gassed up on this one.
