In just a couple of short years, The Werk Out outgrew Zane Shawnee Caverns and relocated to Legend Valley in Thornville, OH, the scene of historic and more than memorable performances from deep in the annals of live music lore. Next month, one of Ohio's favorite acts adds another page to that tome with an amazing lineup in store for fans across the jam and electronica bridge.

The Werks will once again host their festival with three nights of performances, August 7-9. Fellow Ohio favorites, Papadosio, will hold it down for two nights, as well as another jam/dance/prog hybrid, Dopapod. Together, these stalwarts of the midwest jam scene will perform Pink Floyd's seminal Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety with a crossover supergroup set that is sure to not only please fans of all three, but rise to the top of an already impressive lineup as the set to see.

Joining the jam acts on the electronic side of things are Emancipator, Crizzly, Future Rock, Phutureprimitive, Buku, Attak & Carma, and many more. TheUntz.com will be presenting the late night music in the dance tent, so you know that's gonna be the place to be. We're teaming up with My Best Friends Party on Thursday and Saturday, and all the best regional DJs are going to show fans what the midwest is all about.

Let us direct your attention to the daily schedule, which clearly shows some rowdy action in the tent well into the wee hours. Future Rock into Phutureprimtive is gonna be pretty bitchin'.

High-energy act DJ NO DJ, who also performs the music of the Talking Heads as This Must Be The Band, will perform a special tribute to Daft Punk. If you haven't seen these guys, you're in for a treat, as the young band brings its own zest for the music to the stage with live instruments in effect. And The Werks performing "Get Lucky" from last year might get you in the mood for that.

Blending jam and electronica, as well as the fun family vibe of an intimate midwest gathering, you can't really beat the music or the people at The Werk Out, so grab your tickets NOW for $99, before the price jumps $40 on July 16th (this Wednesday).
