Austin three-piece Resonant Frequency likes it funky. The trio of guitarist Vince Seidl (Diamond Cuts), bassist Landon Reichle (Lando), and drummer Ben Slade (Local Color) trade off on production and sampling duties when the band takes the stage, and in the studio, the possibilities are endless.
Today's premiere, "Like You Like It," uses vintage funk as a launchpad for intrumental work and plenty of bass, taking future funk to new and innovative heights through a blend of samples and soaring technical prowess. The stew of slap bass and fuzzed out choruses simmered with turntablism and glittery synths makes this cut nostalgic and totally futuristic at the same time. Catch this high-flying act live at Euphoria in the band's hometown next month!
